04/03/2018, 1:37 PMI suppose that might depend on the channels you are in? I think that the “activity arc” is on a per-channel basis, not on a slack-wide basis. So if there are 10k people in the slack, and 1% are in a given channel, that moves it into the “active” band, but if 100% are in the channel, it becomes a bit more slow. And with enough people you can hit the “high activity” band in more specialized channels. I have no data to back up this hypothesis though, but I’d love to see some!
