Also, it's not just CTS that can get you. There is a myriad of RSI related injuries. Many CTS problems are actually misdiagnosed thoracic outlet syndromes too so surgery won't help. Trust me from personal experience you don't want your hands (elbows, arms) to hurt while doing what you love and what pays your bills.
