My use of Kotlin is for Android, and I have seen a lot that suggests Kotlin is growing in the Android market. Google's first class support, various companies using it like Luke mentioned, and some trends are predicting Kotlin to surpass Java for Android development by this time next year.

Does anyone have statistics on how Kotlin is growing in other aspects? Is it being adopted by a lot of front end developers? Back end? Is Native still new or is it starting to be widely adopted?
