Yeah, it's mostly a rant. Of course JB wants to use Kotlin as a means to driving their business forward. He admits it himself - businesses are there to make money, this isn't groundbreaking.

However, JB maintaining Kotlin as a means to increase business, and Kotlin increasing developer productivity, are not mutually exclusive.
