In his interview on `Accidental Tech Podcast` he elaborate more on the future of Swift and how they plan to extend it to the server and multiple platforms. I think the comparison of every language to Swift is getting a bit old tho. When Swift came out a lot of developers started blogging about how their preferred language is similar to swift, and they missed the semantic differences. It appeared as if people wanted their preferred language to be taken seriously if it somehow had some link to Swift.
