@aa No way. I mean Kotlin is nice and all but the maturity and widespreadness of Java is huge. Java is here to stay for a long long time and I think Java 9 will still be used by many new projects in the enterprise layer. Kotlin is not just a new syntax for Java and using it has its own trade offs.
