I agree with what @johnl says, of course we have seen that communities can and do drive down dead ends and then sink the boat they are on, and K does not have some magic pass that will prevent this from happening.. I hope that K is almost done and that like Swift it will be a multi-paradigm language that is clean and simple, and with excellent tooling..
