<@U0B8ZP13Q> totally agree here. I think Kotlin is a pretty good language. Except for the `final` part, and people writing plugins for Maven/Gradle to have an 'open everything' (which IMO is almost required when doing anything with mocking, spring, etc) is a clear indication that something is wrong here. I've never seen the benefit of this, and I dread the day that I am going to reuse/extend some Kotlin code and find out I can't because everything is final.
