Finally figured out what bugs me about this guy.  He's echo-chambered himself - he's not open to discourse, to refining his ideas based on discussion.  And many of the methodologies he endorses are based on lack of feedback and very poor assumptions about what learning and training is available and how learning actually takes place - through discourse and human interactions, not just through reading of documentation ( <http://www.yegor256.com/2015/02/16/it-is-not-a-school.html> , <http://www.yegor256.com/2014/10/12/who-is-software-architect.html> ).  He has some good ideas, but it's hard to separate which are pragmatic, which are good to aim towards, and which are just plain harmful, because none of them have been refined by discussion with other people.  He actively keeps a shame wall for people who have gotten fed up trying to talk to him and vocally disagreed with him ( <http://www.yegor256.com/testimonials.html> ).  This is someone who simply can't be trusted. :disappointed:
