@orangy: @Ruckus Peter F Hamilton deals with these themes pretty regularly in his books, most (all?) of which I've read. Unfortunately he doesn't ever really make profound statements about his conclusions, he just sort've leaves you to understand that his main character put himself in some kind of hell by reverting the universe
