@michaelrocks: Funny thing, a day or two later someone comes along and asks almost for the exact thing of my post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/34840821/getting-access-to-an-instance-in-a-wrapper-function and with 3+ answers all basically saying the same thing slightly differently (and all correct), and the answer from Kirill being most natural Kotlin, and total length matching the answer of the “TL;DR” post (which isn’t TL;DR at all)
