Overall, I really like the feeling of extending an existing feature of a language to more applicable cases (hence my proposal of having “extension types” on top of “extension methods”). Function delegation has this warm feeling to it that it’s extending an already existing feature but I still can’t shake the feeling that it might not be worth having a brand new syntax for it
