for example, i don't want anything to do with the way python does lists.... it baffles me that a language intended to be easily read and written has so much lazy syntax that makes python code written by an experienced developer basically incomprehensible to anyone not familiar with the language.

my favorite thing about kotlin is that it truly does achieve vast comprehensibility to those unfamiliar with the language should the coder wish it to read as such!
