I think it’s unlikely in any nearest future. We did a big study on this a few years ago. It indicates that most pattern matching usages are compiler-like work, e.g. parsing and processing AST. Which is quite a small number of use cases, and the feature is very complex, easily abused and doesn’t add much compared to just type checking for most cases.
