^ Yeah, I'd argue that it's still worthy of knowing you have the option. Keep in mind that not every Kotlin programmer will come from a Java background, even if that's the case right now.

Although, in the sense of a "Kotlin fundamentals" blog post, I don't know how relevant it is. It's not a Kotlin specific feature, but more of an OOP in general concept. Whether or not you want to cover how to do it in Kotlin is up to you.
