I think that with Kotlin native, and kotlin getting more and more popular, a good project should be building an alternative to electron. Electron-based apps are known for wasting a lot of resources because they are literally running in a browser. The advantage of electron is letting us develop quickly, and reuse the Web-stuff and knowledge. But with kotlin getting popular on android, on iOS, with the common libraries and all that stuff, a project about making a kotlin GUI framework starts to be viable
