I have a friend that is in love with Rust and he has like 5 times as much experience with programming than I do and just not too long ago I was finally able to figure out what to tell him to convince him that kotlin is a great language. It's like a bridge between the high level bubble people stuck in the world of java and C# to a more low level world with memory management involved but not like how C/C++ do it. That's how I see it at least
