Yesterday, before Google announcement, kotlin had 8060 stars on github and scala 8200. Today kotlin has more than 9200 :scream:
I know that doesn’t represent a lot but still. It will be easier for all of us to say : “kotlin is the most appreciaded language of the JVM”. And the number of LOC should keep its rapid pace.

gaetan: It’s not wise to compare the stars between Kotlin and Scala now. You should compare Kotlin and Swift now which makes more sense. Swift has 38407 stars now and hope Kotlin could catch up with it.
