Swift has convertibles, I like the idea, guess I don’t see the danger in it, if I want to be able to implicitly convert through an extension function is that really crazy? what does it impact? readability? not sure what the counter argument is, but I guess it doesn’t matter that much, it’s not there nor will it be..
