@voddan If one wants to, one can always write "horriblly-beautiful 1-liners" with function-calls and lamdas that is hard to understand. I do not think it is feasible to always in any case restrict the language in order to save the people using it. Sometimes it is, but ++ is not really a complex operator to handle.
