<@U2E974ELT> not really sure how to reproduce, I'll file when i have some time. It only happens with the same 2 kt files. These files are old files that kotlin didn't have any problems with before - then, without modifying the files, kotlin just started to do this strange stuff to them (but I did take a break from the project for several months (june to nov), so it is possible that it was something with a new (post june) version of kotliin) - but the basic behaviour is that I edit out java.lang.String... it re-inserts it when it optimizes imports.
