Sorry, but I'll feel dirty doing this en masse. I can indeed go on an optimize all of them so that Kotlin wins, but @shipilev (not here) would spin in his grave if he was dead (sorry for in-joke), because I can also optimize most of the other ones, if I wanted to, except really slow languages like Python and Ruby. For this particular optimization of Brainfuck benchmark, though, Kotlin code is really more idiomatic after optimization, so I went forward and submitted pull request. It seemed to be a fair play.
