hi, is it possible to invoke functions directly in a .kt file, like this:

data class UserBalance(val userId: String, val balance: Money)

schemaregistry.register(UserBalance, "user-balance.schema.json")

Some part of my brain tells me this used to be possible, but it may be some python fumes?
