I mistakenly tried to use T::class, where T is a type param that isn't reified, but it took me a long time to figure out what the problem was because the error message was confusing to me:

Only classes are allowed on the left hand side of a class literal

It feels like the error could be more explicit, e.g. "Type information is not available for non-reified type parameters". Is this something that can be improved? Should I submit an issue?
