Yeah, I haven't found a way to share things other than just throwing them into ext. I also would like a way to define some extension methods on my Project objects and whatnot. Even something as simple as sharing the boilerplate that enables Kotlin across the several modules in my one app is kind of verbose. I haven't found a better way to do that than to add a global property right at the start of each build.gradle (like ext.usesKotlin = true), and then read that in a boilerplate file that I apply later on apply from:'../shared.gradle'
