The last paragraph is interesting: http://www.androidcentral.com/google-may-make-apples-swift-first-class-language-android "Google is also reportedly considering another language, Kotlin, as a first-class language. However, there are said to be concerns that Kotlin compiles too slowly." Isn't one of Kotlin's goals to compile as fast as Java?
