@randolph.kahle @nfrankel These advises exists since 2012 and are a little bit outdated. They come from pre Spring-Boot era. Spring Boot only scan by default the app package which is acceptable I think, even on Google Cloud Platform. Also Spring Boot contains several optimizations that speedup startup time. Hibernate is still an issue regarding startup time but there are alternatives especially for cloud apps. Feel free to continue the discussion on #C0B8ZTWE4 😉
