perhaps it has to do that it is being accessed from a @JvmStatic fun, I will prefix my FILE constant with @JvmStatic and wait to see if I get one of these Event log errors sometime in the future. I actually am a bit c onfused what this @JvmStatic does , I thought there is supposed to be no static in kotlin
