They obviously operate differently. 1.1 is being planned and doesn’t have ETA yet, 1.0.x are more or less regular updates with bugfixes and tooling, served on the “as-ready” basis. They are planned first, then implemented, then served. Critical updates are out-of-band obviously, without any planning, served as soon as discovered and fixed.
