sorry i entered the convo sorta late, i mean like if val arg = optionalValue {//dostuff}, its a bit more verbose but its more clear for developers just getting started. Once I understood arg?.let{} i actually think it works fine i just didn't know it existed when i started. maybe it could be mentioned on the null safety page at https://kotlinlang.org/docs/reference/null-safety.html
