@jkbbwr: do you not have endless problems with missing annotations? i evaluated quasar for a server project and ended up dumping it for that reason - if you fail to annotate something, or fail to mark something as throwing a suspendable exception, you get random exceptions at run-time. they're apparently getting rid of all that when Java 9 comes out, as it has the efficient stack-walking API they need
