@frankdavid: you can’t imagine how complex this seemingly simple task happens to be because of multi-platform support in Kotlin. I.e. in JS there is no Serializable, so we have to behave differently on different platforms in type system, which complicates things a lot. Recently there was some progress on this topic, but since it is night here, I can’t check right away. Will see if I can get something tomorrow.
