I completely agree with you guys. Comparison with Scala gives us nothing. Nobody will start learning one of hundred of new programming languages because of some subset of features. To be honest, the only thing which proves that language is great — adoption in real big projects. And it really depends of us — Kotlin programmers. Any big and well-known project in Kotlin will increase adoption far more than tons of comparisons with Scala, Groovy and Ceylon et al simple smile
