Should the comparison to Scala be removed from kotlinlang.org? The comparison to Scala comes up a lot when people talk about Kotlin. Reddit, hackernews, twitter, devnet, kotlin blog are all examples of that. I feel these kind of comparisons are rather fruitless. They all drill down to some feature set showdown . To me that's missing the point of a productive language entirely. The comparison against Java I get, that's one of the main reason you guys and girls started this language in the first place. But others don't make much sense to me. Where should one stop? Why not Groovy or Clojure for that matter? So I think it's better for Kotlin to stand on it's own on kotlinlang.org and not make comparisons to other languages (Java is the exception) entirely. (and let the more fanatic of the community handle that 😉 ).
