The idea is to be opinionated to some degree, but stay as transparent as possible, feel like Kotlin, be flexible but only where most people really need flexibility, and have isolation from the web framework from the controller down into the code (obviously you don't when setting up the framework, but it doesn't have to infiltrate all the code)
