How does one use code calling the ktor client from...

How does one use code calling the ktor client from typescript on the frontend? I can't get the NPM dependencies to cooperate with me. Has anyone else done this? Not worried about coroutines because I can just wrap them in promises.

I don't know if it helps but I'm using ktor 1.2.3.
