<@U0A97FVU2>: the problem that I'm having right now is that `DeferredPromise` is the concrete type that you get when you call deferred() and everything is private so I can't easily extend `DeferredPromise` to make it return a `CencellablePromise`, nor can I extend `AbstractPromise` to make my own promise.  Also, the current system where all promises from task() and then() are cancellable but you have to cast them manually to CancellablePromise isnt ideal
