Would it be technically possible to use getDelegate() on local properties without reflection?
My use case is exposing a mutable container as a read-only interface:

private val _users = mutableListOf(Person())
public val users: List<Person> = _users
...
_users.add(user)

would be replaced with

public val users: List<Person> by mutableListDelegate(Person())
...
::users.getDelegate().mutableData.add(user)
