Attention, that’s an inaccurate statement by @konsoletyper. We cannot say anything specific about release date, because there are many constraints that we have or might have to satisfy. One is obviously potential release of Java 9, as of now it is planned for 2017/07/27 but you know, they can slip it for couple of years, especially given recent critisim. Other constraints are both external and internal and may lead to Kotlin 1.2 release at any moment like from now to next year. Well, unlikely being today, but I hope you get what I mean.
