you might be right, you might not
i’ve stopped doing any kind of tech forecast after steve jobs killed flash
flex was a great piece of tech, and it was killed by one guy
java web start was another great piece of tech, and it never took on
all in all, you cannot ignore that a majority of front-end developers will never use maven, gradle, etc.
they have their own ecosystem - which admittedly changes every 6 months
but it’s theirs
if you want to promote kotlin in this space, you need to use their tools
by the way, i achieved what i wanted anyway
i have a working google maps kotlin script
with package.json & Gruntfile.js
