does anyone have opinion on the ux of async db query?
its async, so its gonna skip frame most likely, but then again its too fast for progressbar, and that will just flash, possibly creating even worse UX, (regardless of the new handler async api, its still blinks a bit, so...)
devils idea: having the first query be sync. so its behind splash screen still? (windowBackgroudn splash screen trick)
i.e. splash screen will be longer by the length of the sync query
