I think I'm going to have to upload this thing to Git... EDIT: I got it. I cleaned everything out of main_activity.xml and started it over. It worked this time, which makes me wonder if I accidentally was trying to assign the adapter to a GridLayout instead of a GridView. Not sure. Thanks for the ideas though!
