on a newly created project with android plugin 2.4.0-alpha6, kotlin 1.1.2-eap-73 and kapt3 I'm getting the error

Annotation processors must be explicitly declared now. The following dependencies on the compile classpath are found to contain annotation processor. Please add them to the annotationProcessor configuration.

strangely, I'm not getting that error in my existing project. any ideas why?
