generation of code for view injection is just secondary (or side) feature of DataBindings, to see all power of DataBindings you should reorganise you code using ViewModels, move all work with views to BindingAdapters etc, if you use it as replacement for findViewById/ButterKnife/KotlinExtensions it’s just means that you hammer in nails with a microscope
