do you guys even shy away from Fragments in cases ...

do you guys even shy away from Fragments in cases that most developers think that they "make sense" (eg for ViewPagers and Dialogs)? Do you just throw custom Views at those, as well? I haven't tried that approach but it seems like it might take more work to set up, but end up being more maintainable
