@lazexe Null safety is about avoiding nullable variable at all, not about using !! and ?.. You should not declare all your variables as nullable as you do in Java. In your particular example, you should declare all your fragment member variables as lateinit var with non-nullable types and you should not use nullable types in your code either. E.g., for example, onCreateView inflater cannot be null and should be declared as such
