🤔 I would probably ask them to complete a coding exercise where there’s an easy FP solution, preferably where extension methods and some other Kotlin-specific things make the solution cleaner. This might help give some idea of if the person is “thinking” in a more Kotlin manner vs. Java manner (because some significant subset of Java programmers aren’t familiar with FP concepts). Talking of course is a good idea too =p
