I understood the rationale. However Kotlin claims to be a pragmatic language, and it is very much pragmatic indeed. But in this case it is a bit loses in pragmatism space. Maybe some kind of mechanism for user to chose the behaviour in data classes would be nice. Thank you for the answer by the way.
