works for me. I generally don’t do this sort of thing, but for Android touch events, where some event types are, in a sense, subsets of other types, I’ve taken to using that to my advantage. I can definitely understand why languages would discourage or prevent such things, since they’re truly useful cases are far outweighed by potential pitfalls.
