@eskatos Kotlin plugin does some configuration to the task compiling test source set. There is no way to make it work in the IDE. Also there is no "normal" way to make it compile with Gradle, but you could try the following hack (the following snippet is not guaranteed to work in future, because it relies on current plugin implementation):

// in your build.gradle
sourceSets {
    integTest
}

dependencies {
    integTestCompile sourceSets.main.output
}

compileIntegTestKotlin.dependsOn compileKotlin
compileIntegTestKotlin.friendTaskName$kotlin_gradle_plugin = compileKotlin.name
